Curtains & Blinds, Chelsea

This project was completed in 2023.

This was a wonderful project to work on at such a beautiful property in Chelsea. Layering and adding texture to the space was key, whilst really focusing on the functionality of the window treatments as it was important for the client to get various levels of privacy and blackout shading.

A mix of curtains and blinds works well in the space to add softness, whilst also keeping sympathetic to the style of the property and the shape of the windows. We installed motorised sheer roller blinds in the principal bedroom up into a recessed blind box, which creates a very elegant and seamless finish, especially due to the windows already having beautiful shutters.

In other bedrooms where getting blackout was a priority, we installed layers of sheer, pleated, and lined roman blinds to really give the client full flexibility in achieving various levels of privacy and light control.

We also had the pleasure of making and installing a beautiful, lined bed tester with embroidered trimming. This is another way to add softness, texture, and pattern into a room.

The result was a property finished throughout to an extremely high standard and showcases a wonderful mix of contemporary and classic fixtures and fittings, with timeless elegant fabrics and shading solutions.”
