Curtains Plus was set up in 2000 by Ellen Larkin, whose extensive workroom services background is complemented by daughter Siobhan’s design and visual display skills.
After working in the Interiors industry for 5 years Siobhan joined the company in 2010 together with husband Tim whose background is also in design, photography and project management.
Today we have a well established team of skilled, reliable craftsmen and women who are capable of making the highest quality curtains, blinds and all types of soft furnishings.

All our makers have many years’ experience of handling a variety of fabrics and styles, which helps us quickly identify our customers’ requirements and bring their ideas into practice.
We’ll mix the old and new, co-ordinating different styles from different places to create contemporary, uncluttered spaces that best meet our client’s brief.

Much of our work comes from recommmendations from previous customers, who often comment on how much they like particular elements we’ve used for their interiors.
Professional and flexible
Partnering with a variety of clients from interior designers, architects and developers to design departments, showroom managers and private individuals, we’re used to managing different visions and priorities (it helps that we always like a challenge!).
We know how important it is to accommodate deadlines, fit in with timescales and deliver within budget. And we’ve been around long enough to know that this business is as much about people and relationships as it is about measurements and materials.
Taking care to get it right
Ellen accompanies our fitters on each job to see it is completed to the high standards that the original ideas expect. Our projects are only finished once we’ve got them right when everything is fitted, hung or dressed properly.
